Back from the watchmaker after a second trip.

It was running slow after a service, so back she went. Thankfully running properly now 3 days of testing. Here is my Minerva Aviation 45. From 1997. Made in 50 examples. Known as reference A71-A6B. 42mm which was considered oversized in 1997. The movement

I hope you wife recovers well!

Me and my wife went to grezi. Now Sabres. Lange for me too. I do admit, I always desire a 1815 chrono however I am happy with my montblanc Minerva. For now 🙃

Minerva "anniversary" Pythagore cal 48

My 38 mm x 9 mm Minerva Pythagore cal 48 "anniversary" which was made in 1999 under the Frey father and son team. Manual wind. The calibre 48 design is suppose to epitomize the Pythagorean golden ratio of proportionality and ratios. It has a cult-like fol

Another old school Minerva - the Cal. 13-20 chronograph ⏱️⚖️🇬🇷

Old school Minerva Pythagore Aviation - the 34mm gem ⏱️✈️🇬🇷

Just a quick spontaneous shot of mine in the nude today, aka without a strap on. I still love the proportions, the use of cathedral hands and the super pleasant size on the wrist. Any other old school Minervas out there?

Damn I’m in love in Minerva and especially the old ones.

These movement and designs are breathtaking and go figure, they were made in the 30’s when everything was still very primitive. This maison should have way more respect and appreciation than it actually has at the moment. They’re truly master watchmakers

Beautiful piece indeed!

Beautiful watch and especially movement but why in bronze? I would have preferred it in titanium for instance of steel. Bronze is definitely not for this one. I wish they had the Minerva on the dial, would have been very tempting. Best, Laurent

Back at you with my 322 ;)

The Minerva caliber is an entirely different animal. When you wind it it’s a joy and feels like a Patek or Lange. On top of that the finishing on this movement is top notch to say the least Laurent
